Digital Juice releases Christmas collection LAKE MARY, FL — Digital Juice (www.digitaljuice.com) is offering a new Christmas-themed instant download edition of its Canvases image library. Canvases are subtle background images that are designed to be the starting point for graphic projects. The Christmas Canvases collection features an assortment of backgrounds featuring classic symbols of the season, including Christmas trees, gift boxes, holiday bells, candles, nativity scenes, ornaments and reindeer. Forty sets of graphics are available in the flattened JPEG format. Digital Juice includes five different size for- mats of each image, allowing users to find the most suitable back- ground without extra work. "These different size formats go beyond simple cropping," explains Jacqui Dawson, senior creative director at Digital Juice. "We have actually redesigned each Canvas to perfectly fit the different aspect ratios." The Christmas Canvases collection can be ordered through Digital Juice's online store as a limited time "instant download." The package's retail price is $79.95, but it can be purchased as a special promo- tion for as much as 50 percent off. Football and protests MARINA DEL REY, CA — FootageBank is now repre- senting professional Canadian football. New HD game play coverage with all talent and branding became avail- able in August and has already been licensed by the television shows Private Practice, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods and The Mentalist. This collection will continue to grow as the season plays out. In addition, demand for images of Occupy Wall Street has prompted FootageBank (www.footagebank. com) to capture coverage of the ongoing Occupy dem- onstration as they unfold. The footage company has people collecting images, as well as shooting the dem- onstrations in New York and on the West Coast, on HD and HDV, depending on the situation and where a camera can be without being obvious and therefore impacting what is happening at the time. www.postmagazine.com Post • November 2011 23
