Sessions highlight best practices for improving adolescent literacy as well as instructional strategies for closing achievement gaps for English learners and stu- dents with special needs. Presentations feature secondary school teams that are improving literacy achievement for all students. Other sessions cover the Common Core Standards, Linked Learning, and Response to Intervention (RtI). There are nine award categories for individual CTA members, as well as CTA Chapter and CTA Service Center Council awards. Any active member, chapter, caucus or Service Center Council may submit nominations. Nomination forms must be postmarked or faxed by Jan. 6.
