Standing 16 inches tall and
weighing in at 12 pounds of solid
bronze, the distinctive statuette will
celebrate the year's most exceptional
performances. But creating the
iconic figure is a time-consuming
task. It takes nearly a month and a
team of 10 at Burbank's American
Fine Arts Foundry to mold and cast
the awards in time for the show.
