bits & pieces ClickFirecreates app EW YORK — ClickFire Media (www.clickfire- media.com) has designed its first iOS game based on the Travel Channel show, Man Vs. Food. The app is available for iPhone and iPad devices as well as the Android platform. ClickFire Media was approached by the Scripps Network to develop a game in which each player needs to build a big stack of food and then eat it within a limited time. The studio used individual chal- lenges from the actual show, including The Indianapolis Burger Challenge. In addition to designing the game concept, the lay- out and all graphics, the ClickFire Media team added an audio element in which the player can say "Nom, nom, nom," into the mic to eat the stack of food. The game was developed with three levels for each challenge. The job took the ClickFire team of nine about four months to complete from start to finish. Peter Corbett and John Levy served as executive producers and Matt DeSimone was senior interactive producer. The studio used XCode and the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and After Effects to complete the job.
