The release is intended for sports and action projects, including sports highlights, hard-driving car commercials or any other situation that calls for maximum impact. Veteran television composer/producer Josh Heineman gathered together a group of high-pro- file artists for the numerous tracks. Each full- length track is pre-edited into broadcast spot- lengths for fast commercial production. Many of the collection's tracks also feature alternate mixes without the lead instrument for flexibility. MUSIC 2 HUES RELEASES ROYALTY-FREE ACOUSTIC FOLK SERIES ENFIELD, CT — Music 2 Hues (www.music2hues.com), a sup- plier of production music and sound effects to the film, video, animation and multimedia industries, has added a royalty-free title to its Flagship Series of production music. This Flagship title, "Folk Acoustic Blues," is now shipping worldwide and is available on audio CD, or can be downloaded in MP3 and WAV file formats. "Folk Acoustic Blues" is a collection of acoustic blues tracks, covering all the bases for folk-style Americana blues. It features 6- and 12-string guitar, layered with acoustic slide guitar. In addition to audio CDs, the company's new updated music download center offers the ability to purchase individual tracks from all of its current Flagship Series titles, or entire CD cate- gories in either MP3 or WAV file formats. For one price, clients will get all the edited versions of any one music track, including the full length theme, and any :30 and :60 sec- ond versions, when available. New production music will be added monthly. AUDIO NETWORK CONTINUES TO EXPAND LONDON — Audio Network's library of premium music for the film, television and adver- tising industries has surpassed the mark of 600 composers and 80,000 tracks. Featuring acclaimed and accomplished composers, recorded on-site in iconic studios such as London's Abbey Road and New York's Sear Sound, Audio Network provides a diverse selection of music. In the company's continued efforts to expand US opera- tions, following the opening of its Los Angeles office earlier this year, Audio Network appointed Warner Music veteran Eric Morse to head up US marketing operations, a move in- tended to boost the company's digital and strategic market- ing presence in America. FIRSTCOM RELEASES NEW SERIES FROM JONATHAN ELIAS CARROLLTON, TX — FirstCom Music (www.firstcom.com) has announced new releases from the Jonathan Elias Series from the company's EVO library. Jonathan Elias is the founder of Elias Arts, an award-winning music company within the broadcast advertising in- dustry. They are the music behind such recognizable advertising campaigns as the "Moon Landing" mark for MTV, Apple's "Think Different" campaign, the Yahoo yodel and more. The Jonathan Elias Series con- sists of a variety of albums available exclusively from FirstCom Music that use Elias' ability to "score" emotions and compliment picture for high-end advertising, film, documentary and emotional storytelling. The new releases include "Inspired Adventure EVO219e," which delivers bold world anthems for travel, adventure, exploration and drama, and "Positive Underscores EVO217e," which showcases the art of acoustic underscores. LOOP LIBRARY FILLS DUBSTEP NEEDS PORTLAND, OR — Pros looking to create an original dance track for their project should check out Modern Beats' new Dubstep X release, which offers over 325 Dubstep Dance music loops in construc- tion-style layout. Dubstep X Music Loops includes more than 740 files in three for- mats (Acidized WAV, Apple Loops AIFF, and Reason REX2). The 1GB library is structured into three popular dubstep tempos: 128bpm, 132bpm and 140bpm. Each of the three tempo groups contains several multitrack loop themes and each multitrack variation is separated in its individual instrument loop file, be it bass synths, gritty synth leads, dis- torted guitar, orchestral strings, sound effects or vocal accents. Loops are modeled after those by chart-topping recording artists Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Nero, Bassnectar, Datsik, Knife Party and Excision.
