Go to to order from Amazon. fter snagging the distinction of being the fastest-growing spirit in the United States in 2010, with a whopping 88% growth rate, pisco continues its signifi- cant growth in 2011 with a number of new and notable brands working together to not only expand their own products but expand the market in general for pisco in America. “We call it cooperatition,” comments Timothy Childs, co-founder and Managing Partner of ClearGrape, the importer of pisco brand ORO and the publisher, with ClearGrape co-founder Shelley Alger, of the newly released The Pisco Book, a comprehensive guide to pisco written by Gregory Dicum. “The category is nascent, so it’s important that all pisco producers join forces to com- municate why pisco is so great,” explains Childs.
