Bringing diverse managerial experi- ence to The Phoenician, Rinehart most recently served as Hotel Manager for the 676-room Westin San Francisco Market Street, and he spent more than two years as Food and Beverage Director at the Arizona Biltmore. “Mac left big shoes to fi ll,” says the 47-year-old F&B veteran, who loves the bold side of wine and spirits. “I have always had an affi nity for—and love to experiment with—single malts and big red wines. I enjoy the expressive side of food and beverage. I want to continue the quality of products on the property, including supporting our tremendous tequila and malt beverage collection. My new role is to build on the great platform that Mac already established here at our luxury resort property.” 18 / the tasting panel / april 201 1 David King (left), new President of Anchor Distilling Company, and importer Henry Preiss at their recent portfolio tasting in Hollywood, CA. nchor Brewers & Distillers will be announcing an exciting new twist to its business model at WSWA in Orlando.
