Council on Educator Development report due late 2016 General Assembly establishes the Council on Educator Development to study the current teacher and administrator evaluator systems and make recommendations for improvements. Iowa Core Curriculum should be in the classrooms long before any statewide assessment or evaluatory changes are recommended and/or changed. "iowa is in a unique position to have the time to integrate the common core Standards in ways that are both meaningful and valuable to students. we must encourage school districts to provide the time and resources for this important initiative to work," said iSeA president tammy wawro.
