W hat's in a name? Well, if the name is Lexington and the context is bourbon, quite a lot. That's the hope of a new whiskey on the market, aptly named Lexington Bourbon, released by growing spirits company Western Spirits of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Lexington was launched in late 2012, and is Western Spirits' bourbon star in a diverse and growing portfolio of premium spirits that have found a loyal following among the nation's enthusiasts —both industry insiders and consumers alike. Other brown spirit offerings from the company include Bird Dog, a line of flavored whiskies that includes Maple, Peach, Hot Cinnamon and Blackberry; Sam Houston Straight American Whiskey; Whitetail Caramel Whiskey; and ultra–premium Calumet Farm Bourbon. All are made in Kentucky.
