onstellation Brands, Inc.
has realigned its distribu-
tor network in 19 markets,
consolidating over half its U.S.
wine and spirits business to one
distributor per market. While its
portfolio had been divided in the
past, this new model is structured
to improve growth through high-
ly-aligned distribution relation-
ships, dedicated distributor teams
and a focus on the entire Constel-
lation portfolio.
"This represents the culmination
of an 18-month transformation,"
said Rob Sands, President and
CEO of Constellation Brands, of
the company's new go-to-market
strategy.
Southern Wine & Spirits has
exclusive distribution in nine
markets: AZ, CA, DE, FL, HI, IL,
KY, NY and PA. Republic National
has exclusive distribution in eight
markets: CO, LA, MD, NE, OK,
SC, TX and DC. Johnson Brothers
has exclusive rights in Iowa.
