52 / the tasting panel / february 2014 A rizona Cocktail Week is just around the corner, and THE TASTING PANEL is teaming with Young's Market Company of Arizona to put craft spirits in the spotlight. If you are in Arizona February 15–17, come and say hello to us in person! On Saturday and Sunday February 15–16, we'll be tak- ing over the bar at The Sands Room, where ive brands each day will serve up sample sizes of their signature cocktails at our second annual Craft Spirits Speakeasy! Each brand will be working with an Arizona mixologist who will not only demonstrate why this Southwestern state is heating up the cocktail map, but will also walk AZCW wristband holders through the craft of artisan spirits. On Monday February 17, we'll bring our signature Speed Tasting Series to the AZCW Artisanal Spirit and Cocktail Market, where you'll see our panel taste and talk as part of our irst ever LIVE Speed Tasting! Participating brands will also present their spirits at the Market, so be sure to stop by and say hello. We've gathered some of The Grand Canyon State's biggest movers and shakers, including Peter Kasperski (Cowboy Ciao, Richie Moe (Citizen Public House Group), Mark Tarbel (Tarbel's), Tyler Crandel (Sanctuary Resort) and Micah Olson (Crudo), so be sure to come say hello!
