Ocean Vodka, USA ($33) Lovely vanilla nose; silky texture with pronounced vanilla flavor but dry and showing nice alcohol heat; spicy, smooth and creamy with lovely depth and length. HAWAII SEA SPIRITS 95 Caorunn Gin, Scotland ($32) Smooth, aromatic nose; lush, creamy texture; dry and mellow with an infusion of local Scottish botanicals including heather, dandelion and bog myrtle; rich and long, distinctive and generous with notes of vanilla; lovely spice and crisp, focused flavors. Note: I made a Martini with this gin and it was one of the best I've ever had.
