NOTICE In Memory NEA May be Calling The NEA UniServ Guidelines adopted by the NEA Board of Directors on May 2, 2008, requires the NEA to assess each state affiliate's UniServ Program at least once every (6) years. The intent of the assessment is to: 1. determine whether the structure and operation of the program are in compliance with the UniServ Program Guidelines 2. determine whether and to what extent the program is achieving the purpose of the UniServ Program as set forth in Section I of the UniServ Guidelines Each year WEA gathers names of educators we have lost in the previous year, and presents a memorial slide show at Delegate Assembly. If you have any names to include from 2013, please email the name, position and school to ? kreed@nea.org. 3. identify best practices in regard to the structure and operation of the program that can be shared with other state affiliates DID YOU KNOW? WEA dues dollars cannot be used for candidate endorsements. All WEAPACE donations are generated by voluntary member contributions. Historically, WEA-PACE is amongst the largest political action committees in Wyoming. Cheyenne - February 16-17 The NEA has developed an assessment that we believe will provide states with valuable information to track operational components of individual state affiliate programs. B R L As part of a six-year review of the NEA UniServ program, NEA will be randomly calling members of the Wyoming Education Association to gather information about the program. The calls will occur in mid-February.
