The Tasting Panel Takes A Bite Out Of The Big Apple "There is no place like it," Walt Whitman once wrote of New York City. "No place, with an atom of its glory, pride and exultancy," posited Whitman, one of countless great thinkers to marvel at the Big Apple's unique ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, the mundane to the magnificent. It's no wonder this metropolis is mixology mecca, with some of the industry's biggest names and tastemaking trendsetters giving us plenty of reasons to love New York, sip after sip. So when THE TASTING PANEL descended on NYC for our first-ever New York Speed Tasting, we knew we were in for a treat of epic proportions. We settled in to hip West Village bar-restaurant Clarkson, where we gathered some of the biggest names in New York to join our panel of speed tasters. We invited ten brands to create and serve cocktails that would put our panel in a New York state of mind, and the results were all-around impressive!
