Dan Neale joins Native S OHO, UK — Jungle (www.thejunglegroup.co.uk), which offers sound design and music for advertising, promo and broadcast, has appointed  Dan Neale  as creative director of its relaunched music offering, Native. He will be been charged with expanding Jungle's music services into new areas such as music supervision and sync for TV advertising and broadcasting, and will work to grow the company's composer roster. Native will serve as an integral part of Jungle, offering clients immediate support with licensing, music searches, composition and re-records. It will also have its own production music library. Neale has extensive experience working in music for advertising and broadcast. Prior to joining Jungle, he was head of music at RKCR/Y&R, where he oversaw all aspects of music for the advertising agency. He was responsible for commissioning Elbow to compose the BBC London 2012 theme and launching the agency's record label. He also worked on several high-profile campaigns for Virgin Atlantic, M&S, Kopparberg, Danone and Lloyds. Neale also co-founded the Music+Sound Awards, an awards program that recognizes and celebrates the role and contribution music and sound design play in the world of visual media. Native will be based at Jungle's newly-refurbished offices. The first floor has been completely refurbished and includes a Dolby cinema studio. They have also added three new audio studios.
