Restaurateurs Michael and Tom Cardenas of Innovative Dining (BOA, Sushi Roku, Katana, et al.) were some of the industry VIPs at the lanes. Spare Time for the Troops O peration Homefront and Beam Global Spirits & Wine joined forces in October to benefi t military families in Southern California. Operation Homefront is a national non-profi t organization that provides emergency assistance and morale to troops and their families. Since its incep- tion, OHF has provided critical assistance to more than 45,000 military families in need, including helping wounded soldiers when they return home. To provide support and raise awareness for our military families deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan,. Jim Beam and Operation Homefront hosted a char- ity bowling tournament at Lucky Strike Lanes at L.A. Live. In an effort to give back to the military fami- lies, 100% of the proceeds from the tournament were donated to OHF.
