B ota Box offers wine enthusiasts a win- ning combination: premium wine in convenient, eco-friendly packaging at a great price. But that's not all the good news. Fans of Bota Box can now enjoy the only Old Vine Zinfandel offered in a three- liter box! Bota Box wines feature FlexTap, trade- marked state-of-the-art technology that keeps wines fresh for up to six weeks after opening by preventing exposure to wines' enemies—light and air. And consumers will be comforted to know that they can serve from the same box for 45 days without con- cern about waste or spoilage. Each Bota Box contains the equivalent of four 750 ml. bottles of wine, or approximate- ly 20 glasses. The result: premium quality wine without the extra cost and weight, or the need for a corkscrew. Not only does Bota Box offer wine of character, it also comes in responsible, envi- ronmentally friendly packaging. According to recent studies, bag-in-box wines already create 85% less landfill waste than tradition- al glass packages and thus have a smaller carbon footprint. Bota Box takes things one step further, ensuring that the actual box is not only recyclable, but that its manufacture is green. The carton is printed on recycled paper made from 100% post-consumer fiber and is 100% recyclable. The soy-based inks and coatings are printed directly on kraft paper, which, unlike white paper, is unbleached; the paper layers are even bonded together with cornstarch instead of glue. How's that for eco-friendly? Bota Box is part of the DFV Wines portfolio. Innovations W e think there's definitely something innovative about transforming the essence one of the most iconic tropical flowers into a delightfully effervescent nonalcoholic beverage! OOBA, offered in six flavors, is the world's first sparkling hi- biscus beverage and packs an antioxidant-heavy punch with its all-natural flavorings and tropical flare. OOBA's hibiscus extract is hand harvested from around the world and shipped to California, where it is made into a rich extract that's blended with water, enhanced with complementing flavors, sweetened with pure cane sugar and gently carbonated.
