The QD4K315HDR10 is designed for film, post and broadcast environments. Boland also introduced a new 27-inch model in the same series, extending QD-OLED performance to additional workflows and applications where space might be limited. The QD4K315HDR10 combines Quantum Dot and OLED technologies to deliver true blacks and high contrast with an expanded color gamut, giv- ing production teams greater confidence in how content will appear across distribution platforms. Built for modern SDR and HDR workflows, the monitor supports major HDR formats, including PQ (ST 2084), Hybrid Log-Gamma (BT.2111) and S-Logs, enabling accurate evaluation of high dynamic range content prior to delivery. The QD4K315HDR10 supports 4K via 12G-SDI (single or quad-link) and HDMI 2.0, with native compatibility across the full range of formats and frame rates. A New ST 2110 with NMOS accessory provides full digital connectivity for new systems. Integrated tools include waveform, vectorscope, false color and 3D LUT support. ARRI & SMALLHD PARTNER ON LENS-DATA OVERLAYS MUNICH, GERMANY — Arri and SmallHD (www.smallhd.com) are collab- orating on lens data monitor overlays that keep critical lens information visible, without obscuring what matters in the frame. Available through a new expansion license for Arri's Hi-5 and Hi-5 SX hand units, the SmallHD Monitor Overlay License displays focus and iris scales, as well as other lens data in personalized layouts, helping focus pullers stay oriented on their marks while maintaining a clear view of the live image. The result is Hi-5 lens data overlays that integrate with SmallHD's add-on API framework, combining a familiar Hi-5 user experience with the PageOS 6 moni- toring platform. Like other licenses that expand the functionality and third-party compatibility of the Hi-5 and Hi-5 SX, the new SmallHD Monitor Overlay License is available from Arri's online license shop. With the license, Hi-5 users can view focus scales, iris values, focal length, FocusBug CineRT data and lens information on a supported SmallHD monitor by connecting via USB-C or the Hi-5's four-pin serial connector.
