OPEN HOUSE www.postmagazine.com 19 POST MAY/JUNE 2026 ocated in the DUMBO neighbor- hood of Brooklyn, Full English Post (www.fullenglish.co) is a boutique audio post facility founded by Kieran Kaye. The studio specializes in high-qual- ity recording, sound design and mixing, providing audio services for clients in the film, television, streaming, commercial, music video, animation and branded-me- dia space. Full English Post was built to serve cre- ative directors, producers, agencies and filmmakers looking for high-end audio finishing services, all within a focused, client-friendly environment. The facility offers ADR, voiceover recording, casting, sound design, mixing and music super- vision services, and in recent years, has expanded into video podcast production, supporting projects that require both polished sound and picture delivery. "Our goal was to create a space that feels comfortable but technically uncom- promising," Kieran explains. "We work on everything from independent films and documentaries to commercial campaigns and streaming projects. No matter the size, the approach is the same: collabora- tive, detail-oriented and efficient." The DUMBO location places the studio within walking distance of many pro- duction and creative offices, while still offering a degree of separation from Manhattan's larger post facilities. Clients frequently attend sessions in-person, though the studio also supports remote workflows, including live-streamed re- cording sessions and realtime review for agencies and filmmakers working outside of New York. Full English Post is home to three mix rooms and three recording booths. The studio is designed to accommodate ADR sessions for narrative projects, voiceover work for commercial campaigns and character recording for animation, as well as audiobook projects. The studio regularly casts voice talent, managing the process from audition through final record. On the post side, services include sound design, dialogue editing, re-re- cording mixing and final deliverables for broadcast and streaming platforms. Avid's Pro Tools serves as the cen- terpiece of the studio's workflow, while Neumann TLM 103 microphones are called on for voiceover work. Sennheiser 416 and Sanken COs-11D lavalier mics are used for ADR. As for Kieran, his career began in post production audio as an intern before moving into engineering roles at estab- lished New York facilities. That progres- sion shaped his approach to building Full English Post — combining technical rigor with a practical understanding of pro- duction timelines and client expectations. "We understand how compressed schedules can be," notes Jason Kaye, who serves as head of business development at Full English Post. "Whether it's finishing a branded short or delivering a final mix for a streaming release, we focus on mak- ing the process clear and manageable." The studio's client list spans indepen- dent filmmakers, agencies, production companies and streaming content producers. Projects have included documentary features, branded content campaigns, digital series and commercial spots, as well as narrative and non-fiction programming. On the commercial side, Full English Post's work includes projects for J. Crew, Under Armour, Paper Mate, JCPenney, IBM, Etsy, Garnier and Ketel One, among numerous others. The studio's film cred- its include Frankenstein and Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse. Recently, Full English Post provided sound design and mixing services for a social media campaign that highlights the New York Knicks and their home at Madison Square Garden as the team reached the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals. At press time, the campaign was appearing on Instagram. The studio also contributed to a branded documentary for the Lego Group and Formula 1 that takes viewers behind the scenes of the 2025 Grand Prix in Miami. As content production continues to expand across platforms, Full English Post aims to remain adaptable. The studio is continually refining its workflow and expanding its service offerings in response to changing delivery require- ments and production models. "Our work is ultimately about storytell- ing," shares Jason. "The technology matters, but it's in service of helping directors and producers realize the emotional impact of their projects."
