oldest and has been there the longest. Her house reflects the American Midwest 1950s, vintage wallpaper and wood paneling, while Geena Davis' character Renee is younger and a music industry veteran, so her decor is more 1960s Laurel Canyon, more psychedelic and British in its influence. Something the Art Department learned along the way was that for a project like this, we needed to give ourselves options by bringing Unreal into the mix. Because we were building everything, everywhere, all at once, there would be no fully realized cul-de-sac to photograph for the interior backings. Also, that there would never be a fully completed physical build because of the amount of VFX at the cul-de-sac past our build; hence, creating "The Map" of The Boroughs. Having a Virtual Art Director, however limited by time, helped us design and build in unison interlocking aspects of the story. Supervising Art Director Michael Allen Glover brought in Virtual Art Director Sydnie Ponic, who worked with Assistant Art Director Joel Waldrep on integrating the highly characterized landscaping. As he designed, greens person Chris Keims was purchasing a selected neighborhood of trees, plants, pavers, grass oasis and fencing. Simultaneously, Sydnie was putting this information into the 3D model and into the VFX asset library. F. INTERIOR GRACE'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM. SET PHOTO. G.
