He is a BAFTA- nominated Production Designer with 25 years of industry experience. Charles began his career as a Visual Effects Art Director in Los Angeles, working on projects such as The Fugitive and Peter Weir's Fearless. Segueing to design work, he has collaborated on projects ranging from major studio movies to independent films. His work has earned him three nominations and two wins from the Art Directors Guild, as well as a BAFTA and Emmy nomination. His most recent work includes Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Phil Lord and Chris Miller's science fiction epic Project Hail Mary. Many other credits include Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness, Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: End Game, Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange, James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy and Michael Apted's Amazing Grace.
