flyaways needed to capture the action. It seamlessly blended with the real house location. Location, Location, Location Wonder Man was an incredible chance to show off what Los Angeles has to offer. We dreamed big with location managers Richard DiPatri and Kevin Funston as their teams scoured the city to curate places that captured its hustle-driven rhythms, while also showcasing the breadth of its diversity. Across the season, we filmed in over seventy-five locations. From the Tam O'Shanter to Mother Wolf, Break Room 86 to the Sowden House, and between locations and built sets, we spanned architectural styles, including Renaissance revival, craftsman, ranch style, storybook, mid- century modern, Brutalist, Mediterranean revival, coastal contemporary, Art Deco, French revival and Mayan revival. Wonder Man was a showcase for the wealth of looks LA has to offer anyone who chooses to shoot here. Trevor Slattery and the Talmadge Apartments For Trevor's apartment, we searched for a building with character that had endured shifts in population, economics and culture, yet remained actively woven into the fabric of its neighborhood. The Talmadge in Koreatown embodied all of that. Its history is also tied to Hollywood. Built by a film producer as a gift for his wife, silent film star Norma Talmadge, it was once home to Golden Age celebrities. Today, it houses a diverse mix of people from all walks of life. We imagined that Trevor experienced early success. His apartment, like the building itself, reflects a long-vanished heyday. It's filled with objects collected over time, like playbills, stolen props, neglected paperwork, philosophy books, photos with his mother, and other fragments of a life well-traveled. There's tension between what the space once represented and what it has become. We leaned into that duality, preserving the elegance of the pre-war architecture while allowing the apartment, layered with Trevor's belongings, to feel neglected and chaotic. Art Director Scott Enge and Assistant Art Directors Ryan Baptiste and Van Tran wrangled countless vintage and custom details— and then after the WGA and SAG strikes, we built it all over again on stage.
