97 S AG - A F T R A S PEC I A L IS S U E 2 0 24 S A G A F T R A .O R G THE GLEE GRIP THE TABLE ASSIST When Brendan Fraser took hold of his Actor, he clutched it around the middle with one hand. This is actually a really uncommon grip among award winners, and Brendan was the only one we found holding their Actor in this way. Large hands are required if you're going to hold your Actor around the middle. And like other Sagittarians, Brendan has a big style, makes big choices and has a big heart. If you're unconventional and want to pursue your cra in a big way, then you might use the Glee Grip when you accept your award. Props can play an important role in a scene, but sometimes you have to set down that pistol, scepter, or glorious bronze statuette and give your limbs the freedom to do all the emoting. If you're like Jennifer Garner or Geoffrey Rush, chances are you'll set your award on the podium so you can use your whole body to show the full meaning of this victory. Those who express themselves in large emotive gestures are enthusiastic communicators with a versatile collection of skills to bring to their role. Able to make your audience both laugh and cry? Eager to use your whole physique in each of your performances? Then you might just leave your SAG Award resting on the table while you show the world just how thrilled you are. Brendan Fraser accepts his SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role (2023). Above le, Geoffrey Rush wins Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries (2005). Above, Jennifer Garner receives her SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series (2004). CHRISTOPHER POLK /SHUT TERSTOCK JOHN SHE ARER / WIREIMAGE.COM
