Five dedicated Screen Actors Guild members — Daryl Anderson, Kathy Connell, Toey Caldwell, Paul Napier and Yale Summers — have worked tirelessly for 14 months planning something new for their fellow union actors. Now, the big night is here, and the culmination of months of hard work is airing on television screens across the country: the first-ever Screen Actors Guild Awards ® . That evening, in Universal Studios' historic Stage 12, Angela Lansbury stares out into a crowd made up of high-profile attendees: Tom Hanks, Jessica Lange, Helen Hunt and countless others.
