ON-PREMISE PATTER The Tea That's "On the List" TATRATEA CONTINUES TO WORK THE SCENE ON-PREMISE by Breanne DeMore / photos by Randall Michelson The Tatratea Citrus and Bohemian expressions are used in the refreshing Hibiscus Lime Tea at Bogie's Lounge at Westlake Village Inn in Westlake Village, CA. A charming, family-oriented suburb of bustling Los Angeles, Westlake Village quiets down at about 8 p.m. every night—unless you're at Bogie's. The nightclub/ lounge at the Westlake Village Inn turns into a mecca of sorts for the crowd not ready to turn in with the kiddies. "We definitely get a fun crowd here," says Joel Luna, Manager of Bogie's. "Once the sun goes down, it's the place to be in Westlake." When Tatratea, the distinctive tea liqueur, was first introduced to Luna, he was intrigued to say the least. "I was first taken with the compelling packaging but once I tasted it, I realized how truly unique it is," explains Luna. "The ranging alcohol content offers a needed diversity to the bar. Plus, the variety of flavors means that there's really something for everyone." 118  /  the tasting panel  /  august 2013 TP0813_104-132.indd 118 7/24/13 9:41 PM
