10SPAN Takes Flight at the Launch Party in Monterey It was a fitting backdrop for the wines that are helping to secure the plight of the California condor: Monterey Bay. THE TASTING PANEL and The Wine Group hosted a dinner for local and area Northern California restaurateurs and the Monterey/Carmel Valley division of Southern Wine & Spirits. Anthony and Marie Favialoro of Pacific Grove are re-opening their restaurant Favialoro's Big Night Bistro, which has been remodeled after being destroyed by a fire over a year and a half ago.
