10SPAN Takes Flight at the Launch Party in Monterey It was a fitting backdrop for the wines that are helping to secure the plight of the California condor: Monterey Bay. THE TASTING PANEL and The Wine Group hosted a dinner for local and area Northern California restaurateurs and the Monterey/Carmel Valley division of Southern Wine & Spirits. Karen Jones and Gigi Davis of Monterey's Loulou's Griddle in the Middle joined the party. Gigi serves 10SPAN Pinot Gris by the glass. Anthony and Marie Favialoro of Pacific Grove are re-opening their restaurant Favialoro's Big Night Bistro, which has been remodeled after being destroyed by a fire over a year and a half ago.
