Fred Dame: Mario Ortiz, my old friend. I can't believe that you began you career here at the Firehouse Restaurant 40 years ago. That would make it 1973. Congratulations! You don't often hear of longevity like that, not only for an individual but for a restaurant as well. Mario Ortiz: Thank you. It has been an amazing experience to have seen the changes in the hospitality industry and the world of wine. Fred: Do you have a great moment from these years past to share with us? Mario: It would have to be the day that I shared a glass of Chablis with Andy Warhol.
