without them. Colleagues and friends—rather a family. Constantly longing for the best and having a good time together! Last but not least, I would like, no, I have to praise the collaboration of writer and director Scott Frank and DP Steven Meizler. I know it's always convenient, polite and obligatory to do so, but here we really faced another level of experience and I mean it! I loved these guys! They always have a strong opinion, a clear eye and a meaning. At the same time, they were happy and curious to agree on (almost) every unexpected move and strange suggestion. For me it as een te eret finest balance of letting a lot happen, still keeping an overview and their vision about the story to be told. This includes producer Bill Horberg, the grand spirit behind it all, who wanted this story to be told for such a long time, happily regarding the creative process, watching, listening and commenting strongly but carefully, ever so humble and laid-back. Enjoying the progress of the long journey he has followed. All this engaged me again in the spirit of filmmaing in its est ssile a. e idea of sharing responsibilities and the sense of throwing all available motivation and experience together, to come up with the best result. That's what happened with The Queen's Gambit in the most genuine way. I´m so glad and proud having been part of this process and even more so, because such a broad audience all over had strong and overwhelming reactions to a strange aard s lie rs. Thanks a lot for this and keep the ingredients in mind… ADG Toronto as the U.S.A. F. WHEATLEY HOUSE EXTERIOR. CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO. LOCATION WORK IN PROGRESS. SET PHOTO. G. SCHOOL EXTERIOR.
