The Ties That Bind
At the beginning of March 2020, the Guild formed a commit-
tee whose purpose was to keep our retirees connected and to
remind them that they are still an important part of our com-
munity. What timing!
Over the course of the year, the CDG Executive Board
checked in with each member. They secured prescriptions
and groceries for some, helped to get mask kits to others and
even helped a member in Upstate New York get a dog to keep
them in good spirits. Calls continue to be made on a regular
basis, keeping our retirees engaged.
From this idea of staying connected, the CDG In Focus
Instagram posts were conceived. We are a large international
membership and 2020 has shown us how important it is to
get to know one another so that we can support our amaz-
ing CDG family. Join the conversation at #CDGinFocus on
