In my MFA program at Chapman's Dodge College and my undergraduate degree in fi ne art, I learned to become a well-rounded designer. I furthered that knowledge as I have entered into the professional setting. I have had the joy of working on several short fi lms and currently, I am the Art Department assistant on the third season of The Orville at Fox Studios. I plan to never stop learning as I pursue this dream to be a part of something that carries viewers away. Xiaowen Wang studied Production Design at AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles. She also graduated from Parsons in fashion design, graduated from FIT in jewelry design, and spent fi ve years in New York gaining more experience in costume and theater design, storyboard and background painting. Before coming to the United States, she joined a famous Chinese studio to learn cartoon-making, Set Design and media design. Her studio experience refi ned her skills in Production Design, costume and character design, lighting design, storyboard drawing, and animation for Chinese fi lm and television programs. A B D D.
