The demand for these skilled and motivated participants remains high in the professional community, and we see the members of earlier cohorts moving into positions of greater responsibility in Art Departments across the spectrum. The initiative is designed to provide on-the-job mentorship to future Art Directors and Production Designers, providing them with workplace experience and exposure to the profession. The participants are employed and compensated just as any production assistant would be, by the signatory production company. Along with work opportunities, trainees participate in ADG service activities, such as the ADG Awards, Film Society and other Guild endeavors. We encourage all ADG Branch members to consider these talented participants if you have an opening for a production assistant.
