A supervising sound editor, Ms. Lifton has earned multiple Emmys and MPSE Awards for animation (DreamWorks and Nickelodeon) and for her work in documentaries (HBO and PBS). Her clients include Viacom, Disney, Netflix, Fox, and Showtime. Bernard Weiser MPSE EIPMA Column EIPMA President Bernard Weiser, who is also Vice President of the Motion Picture Sound Editors, has been nominated for two Emmys, both as dialogue editor for HBO's Deadwood: The Movie and True Detective's "The Great War and Modern Memory." Steve Urban MPSE Organizing Your Sound Eects Library Steve was a young, scruffy nerf herder from the swamps just outside the Empire's capital city before finding his calling as a sonic manipulator of mass entertainment. His life's work is the positive enhance of existence across the galaxy through the retelling of legends and tall tales. He remains scruffy in his soul to this day. Steve Lee My Lunch with Richard L. Anderson Steve Lee, known to some as "the Indiana Jones of sound effects," has worked in film sound for over 30 years—as a librarian, effects recordist, editor, and designer (on several films where all titles apply, he has been credited as "Sound Effects Wrangler"). He is currently working hard to create The Hollywood Sound Museum, which you can learn more about and contribute to at HollywoodSoundMuseum.org Miguel Araujo MPSE International Sound Wave Miguel Araujo is a South African- Portuguese supervising sound editor, ADR mixer, and re-recording mixer living in Vancouver, Canada. He is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and serves as a director to the Board of both the Motion Picture Sound Editors and the Vancouver Post Alliance. Eric Marks MPSE The Sound of Aaron Hernandez's Mind Eric is the founder of Transported Audio, a post-production sound studio in Los Angeles. He has supervised projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, EA, as well as countless trailers and commercials. He is a member of the MPSE Board of Directors, where his work has been nominated for five Golden Reel Awards. Colin Lechner MPSE Sound Check A terrestrially-bound space ape, Colin Lechner is a practitioner of the sonic arts, working primarily in feature films as a sound designer and re-recording mixer. A Colorado native, he is an avid field recordist and an advocate of creating unique recordings for every project. He can often be found recording the wind as it sings. Colin is an MPSE member and can be contacted at colin@raconteursound.com Solange Schwalbe MPSE Sync Sound Solange is a 35-year veteran as a motion picture sound editor and Foley supervisor. She is both an Emmy and Golden Reel Award winner. She has her own post audio company, Dog House Post. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the MPSE since 1991.
