Users of other fi le-management applications, including Soundly, have shown great interest in integrating this project into their systems. Quite a few tools are in development to integrate UCS demonstrating the system's ability to increase productivity. Sound editor and effects recordist Kai Paquin has been instrumental in the early stages of adoption, assisting on scripting Soundminer Workfl ows and Keyboard Maestro (KM) scripts that will be made widely available. One KM script recently demonstrated helps name fi les within Pro Tools following the recommended naming scheme. A stand-alone app called AudioCategoryClipper has been written to help generate UCS- compliant fi lenames with the ability to reference the synonyms list as you type to guide you into fi nding the most appropriate CatID. These tools are available on the shared Google Drive Home Folder. Sound effects library vendors Boom Library and SoundMorph have opted in to using the system, and a number of other library vendors have shown interest in adopting the system moving forward.
