The show turned out to be a TV show in Vancouver and would I be available to step in and take over. I hadn't done a series before and I was a bit hesitant. Little did I know what waited for me. On the flight, I knew I was going to have to come in strong and decisive, and boy did I. Tom: Yes, you did, by changing the pending designs, except what was already being built and/ or leftover, which made sense to me. What was the most challenging part of taking over the show? A On June 23, 2018, I received a call from Production Designer Barry Robison. He had just arrived in Vancouver to take over a TNT television show called Snowpiercer. The show was four weeks away from start of photography and they had been without a Production Designer for three weeks, so things were a bit adrift to say the least. The existing Art Directors were not going to stay and because I'm a glutton for punishment, I decided to join him in what turned out to be quite an adventure. The following is a conversation between Barry and I about the experience. S n o w p i e r c e r S U R V I V A L O F T H E F I T T E S T !
