These pages were commissioned
as a Send Me digital comic book
that was a perk for the web series
GoFundMe donors. Send Me is a 2016
web series created by TV writer and
playwright Steve arper. It's about a
black woman with the power to send
black people back in time to the days
of slavery. The series premiered on
ET.com and starred Tracie Thoms,
who received an Emmy nomination
for her work on the series. The
project was optioned by AC and
is in development as a TV series.
This comic book was a lot of fun in
that I was able to blend great film
noir cinematic imagery that I do in
storyboards with the comic book
format.
