After opening remarks made by New York Local Board member and National EEO Committee Co-Chair Ezra Knight and National Singers Committee Chair Janice Pendarvis, Love opened up about her life and extensive career in the entertainment industry, and shared advice for aspiring and seasoned entertainers. The panel was part of the 16th Annual Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience, which was organized by a consortium of Asian Pacific Islander-focused nonprofits and sponsored by SAG-AFTRA. SAG-AFTRA's Equity & Inclusion Department, formerly EEO & Diversity, sponsored a multitude of events, including the NextUp Brunch featuring an interview with actor Jason Genao, above, on Jan. 25. Two other panels that spoke to the importance of bringing diverse stories to the screen were also held on Jan. 26.
