T raveling to Milwaukee for a meeting or convention? Coming to the city on business? Enjoy their stellar venues and state-of-the-art meeting spaces, but don't forget to take some time out for wellness. Women's Health named Milwaukee one of the "wellthiest" cities in the country thanks to the city's wide range of healthful restaurants, attrac- tions, and activities. Whether a meeting planner looking to help their guests take a breather or an attendee seeking a respite between sessions, Milwaukee has them covered. Located in close proximity to the Wisconin Center District – Milwaukee's three-venue convention campus – meeting attendees and general business travelers have great opportunities for pampering. Walk over to Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward neighborhood, where you will find Urbaine Oasis Spa Boutique. Facials, skin treatments, waxing, and an eye bar await the weary traveler. Also in the Third Ward is Milwaukee's own Drybar location. Upon arrival, guests can sip an alco- holic or non-alcoholic beverage while perusing Drybar's lookbook. A stylist then takes patrons for shampooing and conditioning, with a bit of scalp massage, before heading to the styling chair for a blowout and style. Attendees do not have to walk very far to find some R&R with a few of Milwaukee's meeting and event venues featuring onsite spa services. Pfister Hotel sits in the heart of downtown Milwaukee offering lodging, meeting space, and WELL Spa+Salon in the historic hotel. WELL Spa was Milwaukee's first all-private suite spa featuring single suites, couple suites, a group room, and hydro-massage room. Potawatomi Hotel & Casino just completed a hotel expansion adding more accommodations, additional meeting spaces, and the new Ember Salon & Spa. With a modern look and options for both men and women, the full-service salon and day spa provides several luxury beauty treatments. Enjoy a little namaste with yoga classes in some of the city's top attractions. The Milwaukee Art Museum offers Yoga @ the Museum monthly underneath its gorgeous architecture with a view of Lake Michigan. MKE Yoga Social offers yoga sessions in various Milwaukee staples year-round. Attendees can work on their fitness and their beer belly simultaneously while enjoying yoga at the Miller Brewing Caves as well as Pabst Brewery and Taproom. For those who prefer cocktails to brews, join the group for yoga at Central Standard Distillery and Twisted Path Distillery to name a few. MKE Yoga Social even allows guests to have a stretch then a slice with events at Classic Slice Pizza and Pizza Man. Take fitness to the great urban outdoors in Milwaukee. Walk, run, bike, or cross-country ski on Milwaukee's beautiful trails like the more than 100-mile Oak Leaf Trail and the Hank Aaron State Trail stretching from the lakefront to Miller Park and beyond. Boating, fresh water surf- ing, kayaking, jet-skiing, and even a river Paddle Tavern are all options on Milwaukkee water.
