Art Directors Guild
Councils award a
ifetime Achievement
Award in recognition
of outstanding
accomplishments
in their areas. These
awards went to
Production Designer
Joe Alves, Illustrator
Jack Johnson, Scenic
Artist Denis Olsen and
Set Designer Stephen
Myles Berger.
The William ameron
Menies Award went
to visual futurist
and concept artist
Syd Mead. Presented
by director Denis
Villeneuve, Mead
sadly passed away in
December. The award
was accepted by his
longtime partner oger
Servick, who told the
audience that Syd was
honored to have been
chosen to recieve the
award.
