Kristin Dewey
A Los Angeles native, Kristin
Dewey has been a fi lm and
television location manager
for 30 years. Her recent
work includes the acclaimed
independent feature Honey
Boy. Kristin was also a fi lming
coordinator with the Pasadena
Film Offi ce for seven years. In
her downtime, she volunteers
at a city animal shelter and with
American Red Cross disaster
services.
Nancy Mills
Nancy Mills is a freelance
entertainment writer whose work has
appeared in dozens of magazines
and newspapers around the world,
including USA Today, USA Weekend
magazine, Entertainment Weekly,
Us Weekly, People, Cosmopolitan,
Elle, The Costco Connection, Los
Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune,
New York Daily News, The Guardian,
International Herald Tribune and The
New York Times Syndicate. Over the
years, she has visited hundreds of TV
and fi lm locations in such far-fl ung
spots as China, India, Italy, France,
Germany, England, Mexico, Australia
and Fiji. She is a graduate of Cornell
University.
Dyana Carmella
Dyana Carmella has worked as a
journalist/photographer in the
entertainment industry for the last
decade, interviewing directors,
producers, cinematographers,
location managers and leaders on
the development of new technical
advances in post-production. She
currently is the editor of the
California on Location Awards
Magazine and recently spearheaded
the California Location Tour,
teaming up with various fi lm
commissions to showcase the
diversity of fi lming locations around
the state. Aside from journalism, in
her downtime, she's an avid long-
distance hiker and currently creates
content to motivate people to go
outdoors and explore and protect
the world around them.
Shaun O'Banion
Shaun O'Banion is a Gotham
Award-winning producer currently
living and working in Prague, Czech
Republic. He has written articles for
MovieMaker Magazine, Filmmaker
Magazine, and is a regular
contributor on Stage32.com
Phill Kane
Phill Kane is a 21-year veteran
of the location universe. When
not trying to survive marathon
training, runs on the streets of Los
Angeles, and can be found location
scouting and managing freelance
commercials. A past LMGI Board
member, he is currently location
managing a new show for CBS
entitled Stumptown.
Les Fincher
New York-based location pro
Fincher is an LMGI Board member
and co-founder of ALSAM. He
brings his considerable production
experience to his curated resource
app: Film Ready Services.
Ken Brooker
Vancouver-based Ken Brooker
works as a unit manager and
location manager on feature fi lms
and television series. Focused
primarily on Western Canada,
Brooker has worked extensively in
Canada's Far North, hard-to-reach
places. A member of the LMGI and
Directors Guild of Canada, Brooker,
in his downtime, enjoys playing
hockey (lots of it), taking his kids
camping and surfi ng and cooking.
