and tighter deliveries.
Whether its making Vancouver look like San Francisco, or giving a building in Los
Angeles a make-over to look like Washington, DC's Lincoln Memorial, so much of
today's visual effects for television series have to do with convincing the viewer that
what they are seeing is real.
Many shows don't shoot in the cities where the series are set, so it's up to visual
effects pros to make plates and mattes, and create seamless shots that trick audiences into thinking the Golden Gate Bridge or White House are nearby.
