Her previous experience includes tenures at design and branding firms Capacity and Trollbäck+Company. In addition, Serletic heads up business development at Dark Burn, which specializes in game trailers. Serletic and The New Blank have long had a mutual admiration, with similar work approaches and sensibilities. The move marks an official collaborative effort. YOOMIN LEE London's Moving Picture Company has bolstered its color team with the recent arrival of Yoomin Lee. A leading colorist, she cut her teeth working for some of Australia's top post houses, including Frame, Set & Match, The Lab and Cutting Edge, before joining Jogger Studios London in 2016. As Jogger's resident colorist, Lee worked on a range of campaigns, including those for Google, Valentino, FIFA and Samsung. Collaborations with director Anton Corbijn saw her grade projects for Depeche Mode and U2, including visuals for the band's 2017 Joshua Tree Anniversary Tour. AMY LOUNSBURY Amy Lounsbury has joined Baltimore, MD's Chesapeake Systems, a full-service provider of technology systems and solutions that optimize media workflows. Lounsbury will be a part of the company's Southwest team, and will serve as director of business development for the region. Her newly-created role will focus on guiding media- centric companies in developing efficient, scalable workflow solutions, with an eye toward ongoing growth. Lounsbury joins Chesapeake after four years as an enterprise account manager at Diversified. She is active in the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA), including its Women in Post initiative, and in MESA's Women in Technology, Hollywood section. GIZMO RIVERA Venice, CA-based effects house The Mission has added Gizmo Rivera as visual effects supervisor/lead Flame artist. He brings over 15 years of experience to his new position, having most recently served at MPC. Prior to that, he spent time at The Mill, a52 and Hydraulx, where he worked on visual effects for major films such as Avatar, Iron Man 2, X-Men Origins and Wolverine. Rivera's specialties include beauty work, character development, projection, particles and complex CG. In addition to his film credits, he has worked on commercials and music videos for such clients as Nike, Coca Cola, Jeep, Lexus, Old Spice, Nissan, Adidas, Audi and Gatorade. CLARE O'BRIEN Clare O'Brien has joined New York's Alkemy X as vice president of business development. She comes to the fully-integrated production studio from Chimney, where she was head of sales. Prior to that, she held a sales role at Humble TV. She has also led sales efforts at Postal TV and Sonic Union, and worked as a post producer at QuietMan. O'Brien will be based out of the company's New York studio and will work to help forge new business relation- ships with like-minded companies that are seeking high impact content, nation- ally and internationally. JOHN KILSHAW Framestore welcomes experienced visual effects supervisor and creative director John Kilshaw to its New York team, where he will continue to build Framestore's presence within episodic television. With more than 15 years' experience, Kilshaw joins Framestore after previously holding roles at a num- ber of VFX facilities, including Dneg, ILM, Lucasfilm, Method and Zoic. His extensive film credits include several Harry Potter install- ments, The Avengers and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. He has also worked on hit television shows such as Marvel's Iron Fist, The Defenders, Cary Fukunaga's Maniac and the FBI thriller Quantico. BECCA FALBORN New York's Sound Lounge has promoted Becca Falborn to executive producer, a role in which she will manage the studio's advertising division and super- vise its team of producers. She will also lead client relations and sales, as well as manage Sound Lounge Everywhere, the company's remote sound services of- fering, which currently operates in Boston and Boulder. Falborn joined Sound Lounge in 2017 as a producer and was promoted to senior producer last year. She has produced voiceover recordings, sound design and mixing for many advertising projects, including including several that debuted during this year's Super Bowl telecast. PHIL KUBEL The Hollywood Professional Association recently wel- comed industry veteran Phil Kubel as its director. Kubel will be the Burbank-based presence of the HPA man- agement team, overseeing the organization's day-to- day business as well as supporting strategic planning, membership development and program development. Prior to HPA, Kubel was a founding member of HRTV, a national TV equestrian and horse racing network, where he helped design, engineer and oversee the production build of the studios and broadcast facility. He was also VP/EP for The Stronach Group's digital media initiative XBTV.
