www.postmagazine.com 40 POST MAY/JUNE 2019 PEOPLE JEREMY SAWYER Jeremy Sawyer is returning to Panavision's Light Iron facility in Los Angeles as a senior colorist. He brings more than 20 years of color finishing experience to his role, and previously worked at the studio from 2015 to 2018. While there, he contributed to projects that include I'm Dying Up Here, Easy, The First, Goliath, Mr. Mercedes and The Walking Dead. Light Iron colorists often integrate with projects during pre- production, working closely with cinematographers to fully understand the motives for the creative choices being made. REBECCA MANNING Alkemy X has hired Rebecca Manning as compositing supervisor for its visual effects division. She brings 16 years of experience and more than 40 major feature film and television credits, including Ghostbusters, The Jungle Book, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Avatar. Manning will be based out of Alkemy X's New York studio and will lead its compositing team on projects that include the television series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fear of the Walking Dead, Mr. Mercedes and Blindspot. Manning comes to the studio from Weta Digital, where she worked on War for the Planet of the Apes and Mortal Engine, and was previously senior compositor at Digital Domain, Iloura and Rising Sun Pictures. HEATHER RICHARDSON, PATRICK CASEY Chicago's Cutters Studios has promoted Heather Richardson to executive producer and Patrick Casey to head of production. Richardson joined Cutters in 2015, after gaining experience and contacts as a producer for visual effects studio A52 in LA and editorial company Cosmo Street (LA and NY). In her new role, her oversight will expand into managing and recruiting talent, as well as maintaining and building the company's client base. Casey, as head of production, will focus on optimizing workflows, project management and bidding processes. Some of his recent work includes producing the Always #LikeAGirl campaign, Budweiser's Harry Caray's Last Call viral spot and Whirlpool's "Care Counts" campaign. TONY DUSTIN Tony Dustin has joined the Deluxe post production creative team as senior colorist, working from the Efilm and Encore post facilities in Hollywood. He brings more than 20 years of experience in color grading and a credit list that includes work on the Netflix dramatic series Sense8, the Hulu horror series Castle Rock, the Best Picture Academy Award nominee Silver Linings Playbook and Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. Dustin comes to Efilm from Technicolor, where he spent nearly 17 years perfecting his craft. He has also held various color-centric roles at Westwind Media and Efilm's sister company Encore. DANA ROSS Dana Ross has joined full-service post production facility FotoKem in Burbank, CA, as senior vice president of client relations. He brings more than 40 years of experience, and will collaborate with FotoKem's sales and marketing teams to continue to expand its creative connections. Ross' experience encompasses motion picture workflows, production, camera and lens expertise, and decades of relationships with filmmakers. He began his career at CFI Motion Picture Laboratory, and later at Technicolor, serving as SVP of feature film relations. In 2014, Ross joined the Arri Rental team as a global marketing executive and embarked in the development and launch of the Alexa 65 camera system. TOR FITZWILLIAMS Anonymous Content is pleased to announce the opening of its London commercial production office and the appointment of Tor Fitzwilliams as man- aging director and executive producer. Fitzwilliams brings 15 years of production experience, having worked across sales, strategy and talent manage- ment with the industry's top directors and creative agencies globally. She began her career at production company Blink, then joined Smuggler London as head of sales, before moving to Smuggler New York to head up East Coast sales. In 2015, Fitzwilliams returned to London as executive producer at Stink Films. JOSEPH BICKNELL Santa Monica-based Company 3 announces the addi- tion of colorist Joseph Bicknell, who recently relocated to New York following a successful run as co-director/ founder of finishing house, Cheat, based in London. He worked on campaigns for such brands as Nike, Mercedes and Audi, and on videos for major acts such as A$AP Rocky and Skepta. As with all Company 3 colorists, Bicknell is available at locations globally via remote color session. DOMENIC ROM Domenic Rom, a long-time member of New York's post production community, has joined Goldcrest Post as managing director. Rom will oversee op- erations, drive sales and pursue growth strategies for Goldcrest. He previously served as president and general manager of Deluxe TV post production services. Recent projects for Goldcrest include the Netflix series Russian Doll and the independent features Sorry to Bother You, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Native Son and High Flying Bird. He's held positions with Deluxe, Technicolor Creative Services and PostWorks.
