The NAB reports that among the 1,600-plus companies exhibiting over near- ly one million net square feet of space, are those in post-related categories such as animation, video editing, audio, visual effects, storage and more. There are a range of post specific sessions, including "Scaling Collaborations for Post Production Workflows," "A Primer on VR Video Post Production" and "Focus On: Color Correction & Grading" throughout the course of the show. In addition, the "ASC 100th Anniversary: Full Circle — Past, Present, and Future of Cinematography" will be held on the Main Stage on Wednesday, April 10th from 11:30am to 12:30pm; the "Future of Cinema Conference and Creative Master Series" will house most of the cinema and post-related sessions. As in previous years, the Post|Production World (P|PW) training program will provide a variety of hands-on sessions for content creators and designers. The new Birds of a Feather (BoF) education and networking program will bring together professionals in the cinematic community. The returning #GALSNGEAR program will host a variety of events de- signed to bring together women in the technical fields of media production, film and video. "NAB Show places strong emphasis on the post production community, offering best-in-class training workshops and education focused on the latest innovations in digital and HDR imaging, AI in video, maximizing workflows and editing," says NAB senior VP of communications, Ann Marie Cumming. "One in five NAB Show attendees identifies as a creative professional, and nearly half of 2019 NAB Show pre-registered attendees say they are seeking information and technical solutions specific to post production." Of course, Post editors will be there as well, walking the show floor in search of the latest and most innovative products. We'll be reporting on what we see online at postmagazine.com, in our daily show newsletters, in our post-show May/June issue, where we'll also reveal our Post Pick winners and, of course, Post TV will be streaming live video interviews to our Facebook page from our booth on the show floor. Stay tuned! NAB AT A GLANCE Post's Linda Romanello and Marc Lous.
