TOURNAMENTS
Five Area Bowling Tournaments were held on January
20 as Special Olympics Delaware athletes and Unified
partners from across the state showcased their skills at
AMF Prices Lanes, New Castle Bowlerama, Brunswick
Doverama, and Millsboro Bowling Lanes. Sponsors
of some of the Area events were M&T Bank and The
Restaurant Store. Qualifying athletes were then able to
move on to the State Bowling Tournament, sponsored
by Edgewell, and held on February 18 in Dover. More
than 1,500 participants represented Special Olympics
Delaware's five Area programs at the State Tournament.
Events included singles, traditional doubles, Unified
doubles, and ramp.
