LESO FUNDRAISING EVENT - 2018 RIDE TO THE TIDE
A sold-out field of 1,000 motorcycles lined the parking lot of Rommel Harley-Davidson in Smyrna on April 22 for the
12th annual Ride to the Tide event to benefit Special Olympics Delaware. The 55-mile ride ended at Jake's Seafood
House in Rehoboth Beach, where participants were treated to lunch, compliments of Jake's. The police-escorted
ride is sponsored by Delmarva Power and organized by the Delaware Blue Knights — Chapter 1. The event is
supported by Delaware's Law Enforcement for Special Olympics Delaware, Jake's Seafood House, Delmarva
Broadcasting Company, WBOC 16 and Fox 21 Delmarva.
