LESO FUNDRAISING EVENT - 2017 TRUCK CONVOY
The Special Olympics Delaware Truck Convoy was held on October 7 at the State Fairgrounds
in Harrington. The 28-mile convoy traveled through scenic southern Delaware escorted by law
enforcement. Several cheer sections were stationed along the route for the public to join in the
celebration of the trucking industry and Law Enforcement working together for Special Olympics
athletes. With featured supporters Walmart, FedEx Ground, Perdue, Delaware State Fairgrounds,
Citgo, DelDOT and WBOC-16/Fox 21 Delmarva, our event boasts great food, great prizes and a fun,
festive atmosphere!
