Lake Ave. Altadena, CA 91001 626-798-8448 t1venus@earthlink.net Madsen got her start in the NBC work- room and ran the Warner Bros. workroom before starting her own shop in 1987. Her specialty was gowns and performance costumes for the likes of Anne Bancroft, Lucille Ball, Nell Carter and Sarah Vaughan, as well as Whitney Houston's performance costumes in The Bodyguard. Recently, she has joined the sci-fi zeitgeist, working fre- quently with Marvel to create the specialty costumes for the superheroes of the MCU. Last year, she traveled to Peru, lived in a lit- tle hut for a month and a half to learn the techniques of a master weaver, and looks forward to being able to apply this new skill set to future costumes. Located in the Magnolia Park District of Burbank, his work can be seen in The Fast and the Fu- rious series, Star Trek: Beyond, and Black Panther, as well as television programs, in- cluding Mad Men, Legion, and Ray Dono- van. He will soon be opening a space in Beverly Hills for custom tailoring which will be by appointment only.
