"I can't tell you anything about the story, actually I can't tell you anything about the eight stories… except that each one is in a different city, across a variety of continents with a different cast…" A It's a nice sales pitch, especially when you know Matthew Weiner is the person behind the endeavor. I learned working as an Art Director on Mad Men that the words are going to be good, the characters would have a point of view and that the ride would not be boring. The project would be an anthology, the through line, the leitmotif, would be a belief by at least one of the characters in the episode, that they were descended from Russian royalty.
