Donate to IATSE-PAC: www.IATSE.net/get-involved/contribute Recently, CDG Local 892 IATSE three-year contract ratifica- tion vote ballots were sent to every member. The Costume Designers Guild membership numbers are over 1,000. Here are the statistics: • 265 CDG members voted on the contract. • Less than one-third of the CDG membership participated in ratifying the vote. • CDG Local 892 three-year contract was ratified: 215 Yes 50 No votes. • More than two-thirds of the CDG membership did not participate in voting. This is not a good message of union solidarity being sent to Industry producers. High voting numbers let the producers know you care about your contract, better wages, and better healthcare. Your voice needs to be heard. • Be the change you want to see. How, what, why, and when is up to you. In solidarity, Betty Madden CDG Labor Delegate, bmadden@cdgia.com
