If we don't demand employers meet their obligations, or work non-union productions, we undermine our ability to bargain for fair compensation and safe working conditions. Just last year, SAG-AFTRA created the Low Budget Digital Waiver specifically to address the industry's desire to produce smaller-budget digital work for social media platforms. All of this is just the beginning. With members taking the lead, the union will continue working on all fronts to ensure commercials work is union work.
